What iPhones or iPods can I use in Optrix?
Optrix was designed to fit with the iPhone 4, 4S and iPod Touch 4G.
Can I use Optrix while it is in the case?
Yes! Optrix has a protective water-tight membrane over the touchscreen that allows you to fully operate your device while it is safely locked in an Optrix case.
How long can I record?
Recording time depends on a number of factors. In real life conditions we see close to an hour of HD recording time with 7GB. Therefore an 8G iPod touch will record about an hour, while a 64G iPhone could record for up to 8 hours (limited by battery of course).
What does “Water Resistant” mean?
Optrix was designed to get wet and go out in all types of weather. Unfortunately you cannot take Optrix underwater yet so for all those wanting to diving or snorkelling with Optrix you will have to wait for our upcoming "H2O" version!
Can I use both cameras?
iPhone has both front and rear facing cameras. One of the great advantages of Optrix is you can easily toggle between the two cameras to capture your action from all angles.
Can I listen to music with Optrix?
Yes and no. Since water resistance was a very high priority when we designed Optrix, it is not possible to access the headphone jack while your device is in Optrix. However you are able to stream your music while in Optrix to a stereo or BT headphones.

What is Optrix Crash Replacement?
We want you to take Optrix on all your adventures and we know that sometimes means you're going to crash. Crashing hard (especially on concrete) can cause small cracks in the case that can render it no longer water resistant. We want your device to be well protected so just send in your damaged case and we will send you a replacement for just $20. That is our way of making sure you get great videos while keeping well protected.
How big is Optrix?
We worked incredibly hard to make Optrix as streamlined as possible and it shows. A naked iPhone is a hair under 6cm wide, while Optrix clocks in at just 6.8cm wide, 12.9cm long and 1.8cm thin.
